Danfoss Editron designs and manufactures state-of-art electrification systems and products consisting of high-voltage electric motors, generators, converters and energy storage systems for the global Off-Highway, Commercial Vehicle and Marine markets.  We are truly passionate about investment, and innovation, as we continue to support our customers' journey towards a greener and lower-carbon future.  To continue our growth in this space, we are now seeking to appoint a Project Manager to lead Product Maintenance and Improvement (PMI) projects and tasks.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a Project Manager, Product Maintenance and Improvement (PMI) within the Editron Off-Highway Business unit, you will be the leader of internal PMI-related projects and tasks, and hold responsiblity for:

 

•    Leading PMI backlog activities for existing products from our current portfolio;
•    Ensuring that implementation of product changes are done correctly and with needed documentation;
•    Following execution and coordinating tasks and actions with our committed cross functional teams;
•    Ensuring actions are completed in a timely and efficient manner;
•    Offering regular status updates on ongoing PMI activities to requesters.
 

Background & Skills

In order to thrive as our new Project Manager, Product Maintenance and Improvement (PMI), we would expect you to display:

 

•    Degree qualification or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical field

•    Some experience in Technical Project Management, from within Engineering, Manufacturing, or a similar related environment

•    Be a positive, proactive problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

•    Strong analytical, strategic thinker, capable of building and developing skills relationships with different stakeholders

•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

•    We expect you to be a proactive team player and to take ownership of your work

•    Advantageous would be some previous exposure to international environments, and you should relish the opportunity to work with different cultures, mindsets, backgrounds and in a fast-paced environment
