We are looking for a Data Governance Expert in Data, Digital Sales & Engagement - Process and Data Management. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance on key data assets in the bank. This is an opportunity for you to be a key player in building the information/data foundation for critical data areas in Nordea. This foundation will support meeting regulatory requirements, and a seamless customer service.

About this opportunity


You’ll join the Process and Data Management unit in the Data, Digital Sales & Engagement team in PeB, where we understand and govern Nordea’s Data Assets. We continuously strive to improve the quality of our data. Welcome to a team, where we are responsible for establishing the data foundation for tomorrows Nordea

 

What you will be doing:

  • Act as sparring partner to management and other stakeholders for Data Governance related topics
  • Act as sparring partner to change and development initiatives, e.g. understanding of data frameworks and related policies
  • Support the daily, operative work within data management
  • Be accountable for ensuring adherence to Nordea business and Nordea regulatory requirements for your data asset(s)
  • Be accountable for bringing and maintaining your data asset(s) under governance 
  • Be accountable for definition, documentation and implementation of data asset-specific data standards, incl. business meaning, purpose, location and criticality
  • Ensure that data quality management SLAs are in place with data providers and consumers
  • Be accountable for facilitating dialogue and engaging stakeholders to define Data Governance implementation scope
  • Be accountable for the remediation of data quality issues, incl. supporting the Data Steward in the initial analysis and remediation process
  • Be accountable for documenting and implementing data quality standards in accordance with Nordea data standards and consumer requirements
  • Ensure that data quality measurements are performed, and that data quality assurance processes and procedures are established and approved
  • Ensure that data quality measurement are visualized and made available for data consumers

 
Location
The role can be based in Stockholm, Helsinki or Oslo.

Your experience and background:

  • Strong interest towards technology and data elements
  • Advantage with understanding of the financial industry
  • Project Management skills
  • Understanding of Data Governance & Data Quality Management
  • Information Architect skills can be a benefit
